Colouring in Stamps

Happy Saturday!

Just thought I would share two cards I made up quickly tonight. April and I were given some stamps from a coworker including this great tulip stamp. I was able to colour in and blend with a mineral oil - works great!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

The beginning of Digital Scrapbooking

Well its official I have started to scrapbook digitally. And I really am enjoying it. There are so many products out there now for digital scrapbooking. I was having a hard time justifying buying digital products - so when I discovered all the free kits out there I decided to give it a try.

Its funny I was looking into the hybrid digital scrapbooking (combination of paper scrapbooking and digital) and realized I had always been doing it. So this was just the next natural step for me I guess.

So I started with creating an invitation to Fred's ordination. I had pushed it off for too long and doing it digitally made so much since. It really took me about 15 mins to do this - all products from the freebies section on www.designerdigitals.com

So this was sent out via email - so much faster and I think easier for people to reply to. Now if I had the time I would have loved to have printed them off (they were 6x4inches) and add more to them - but this was so great for last minute.

And just tonight while trying to keep myself sane (long story) I decided to put this layout together - using products that I found for free on www.shabbyprincess.com

I love how in less than 30 mins I was able to create an 8x8 page for Charlie & Abby's album. I printed it out on my own paper using gloss paper and even though my printer is almost out of ink (always seems to be) it looks amazing!

So yes now I'm hooked - and just had to share. As I try this out some more I am sure I will start to actually purchase products and maybe even create some of my own!

Be sure to go check both sites out and see all the great products out there! And who doesn't like shopping from their home - maybe a little to easy ;)
